Various readers have written about their problem. Anxiety is strongly related to unwillingness to work. They get the impression that every task is just too much. They cannot take it. A housewife wrote to me that, whenever she is faced with cooking, her anxiety mounts.
Already the fact to go to the kitchen becomes a problem. Obviously the problem gets bigger and bigger. Her family wants to eat. The children are hungry. and so is her husband.
She is now working on her problems with EFT. She tries to find the root of her anxiety in the first place. Once she will have found it, she can start to work on all that comes up with anxiety. In most cases, there is a strong feeling of not being worth a penny. This boils down to low self esteem.
She admits that her self esteem has never been good. She is even surprised that she did not find out earlier.
Now she can see the relationship between her unwillingness and her low self-esteem.
Low self esteem is often rooted in childhood. When parents shout at their children, these are often hurt at a deep level. While they grow up, little things may increase their feelings. And the step from low self esteem to unwillingness can just be a short one.
In the case I am talking about, there is a link between childhood and anxiety. There is another link between anxiety and low self esteem. There is still another link between low self esteem and unwillingness.. Unwillingness is just the last manifestation in this chain.
Fortunately, this woman was able to find out. This is the starting point in her work to healing herself.
Once a person sees the whole picture, the work to be done becomes easier. It is a step by step healing process. By overcoming every step, the person gets better. Life is no longer a chain of struggles. It is worth being lived. Every sufferer of anxiety and unwillingness who wants to reach his/her healing, will arrive at this point…
